Ubuntu Brainstorm ( http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/ ) uses old branding. It should use the current Ubuntu branding.

Hello Ian, Jorge, Nicolas and Stéphane. Do you know who currently maintains the theme and favicon (see bug #810770) for brainstorm.ubuntu.com?

Is there anything myself or the Design Team can do to help with updating the theme, font and brand assets used on the Brainstorm site to the current materials:

  http://design.canonical.com/the-toolkit/

Changed in ubuntu-branding:

Hi Paul.

I'm not aware of anyone actively maintaining that.
Nicolas is the main developer and maintainer for the ideatorrent code and I guess I'm the last-touched-by for the qawebsite Drupal module (the piece of code managing the header and the sub-domains).

Code roll-outs are done by IS and so they'd be the ones who can replace the favicon and the logo.

I don't think we have anyone who's actively working on design/theming for the QA websites so if the design team want to help there, that'd be great.

I'd guess most of the following websites are also using the old theme:
 - brainstorm.ubuntu.com
 - iso.qa.ubuntu.com
 - status.qa.ubuntu.com
 - blog.qa.ubuntu.com (probably deprecated, should be dropped completely)
 - kernel.qa.ubuntu.com
 - server.qa.ubuntu.com
 - mozilla.qa.ubuntu.com
 - translations.qa.ubuntu.com
 - pairwise.qa.ubuntu.com
 - desktop.qa.ubuntu.com
 - multitouch.qa.ubuntu.com
 - laptop.qa.ubuntu.com
 - xorg.qa.ubuntu.com

Please note I just extracted all of these from the qawebsite database, some of these are probably deprecated and some may already have updated branding.

Hello,

Well, I'm still maintaining the website, but I must admit in not the most reactive way.
The new logo was supposed to come in the last code update a month ago, I made the necessary change for the text below the logo for the new logo (you can see it), but I actually forgot to push the logo itself in the branch :(
And as I didn't wanted to ask too many code updates to the sysadmin team, I was waiting a bit before correcting this error. I will actually ask for a new code update this week end.

Sorry thorsten, it's my fault.

I have asked for the update of the qawebsite branch, which was a very old one. The logo was correctly commited a year ago, but I had asked for the update of the other branch (ideatorrent) :(

The new logo should come shortly.

Nicolas: would it be possible to rev:

at the same time?

Done, logo up to date.
Oops, too late for the favicon.

Nicolas: how do we get the favicon pushed. Is there a bzr tree I can push to somewhere, or is it something that you need to do?

Is it something that IS can fast track directly?

Hi Nicolas,

This is Yaili from the Canonical Web Team. Could you get in touch to my email inayaili.de.leon at canonical dot com, please? It would be great if we could discuss how we can make some changes to the site so that it is more in line with Ubuntu's brand guidelines and reflect Ubuntu's web presence. I'd be happy to help.

Thanks!
