gir generation fails

g-ir-scanner fails since it cannot find the newly created library:

/tmp/granite/build/tmp-introspectwIzqAV/Granite-0.1.1: error while loading shared libraries: libgranite.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Command '['/tmp/granite/build/tmp-introspectwIzqAV/Granite-0.1.1', '--introspect-dump=/tmp/granite/build/tmp-introspectwIzqAV/types.txt,/tmp/granite/build/tmp-introspectwIzqAV/dump.xml']' returned non-zero exit status 127

See the attached build log for the full log. This was build on Gentoo (~amd64, Gnome 3.0) with
 - dev-lang/vala-0.13.1
 - dev-libs/gobject-introspection-0.10.8
 - dev-libs/glib-2.28.8
 - x11-libs/gtk+-3.0.12
