Bug Description

Binary package hint: kate

Kate does not appear to fully respect the global color scheme. I have set my global color scheme as Keramik Emerald, yet the highlighted text color in Kate still matches that from the kuseven theme. I have restarted KDE and even my entire computer to no effect.
The screenshot at
http://home.comcast.net/~dzeigler7/katemismatch.png
demonstrates the problem. Highlighted text in the konqueror window follows the color, yet kate does not.
I'm using the polyester theme, although the issue also occurs with the default plastik.

I can take another screenshot, however, upon further digging, I've found an actual theme configuration panel in Kate that applies to the text area. It would appear the effect I reported is by design, so I would say go ahead and reject this bug. Sorry for wasting your time.
