Currently xfce4-indicator
I would prefer that it didn't recommend any specific indicator. That way you didn't have to have the entire indicator stack installed by default but can instead just seed the packages you want.

Yeah, we could do that (the current situation is because someone added gwibber as a recommends of indicator-messages as a temporary workaround). Let's fix that after alpha 3.
