Firefox 6, 7, 8, 9 don't respect alternative cursor theme

Bug Description

Unity3d session.
Install oxygen-cursor-theme-extra.
Run this to choose an alternative cursor theme.
sudo update-alternatives --config x-cursor-theme
Logout-in to view new cursor.
New cursor theme is displayed in all places except firefox, where it still displays the default theme.

Expected.
Show new cursor theme everywhere without regression.

Still the case with

Maybe firefox has an issue to adapt.

This seems related to Bug #86184. If you find this to be the same issue we can mark this bug as a duplicate.

Thanks David, although bug 86184 is the reverse issue (firefox is supported and other windows not) it gave me the decisive idea. Open ccsm workarounds-plugin, activate 'legacy_fullscreen_support', logout-in - issue solved.
