Bug Description

I really love to see Deja-Dup could perform backups on 'events'. I'm thinking of the following example: I plug in a backup device, Deja-Dup detects this and checks if it is in the list of known backup devices. If it is and a certain amount of time has passed, it will automatically perform a new incremental backup to this device.

I've implemented a very simple tool to do this myself, see http://backintime.sourceforge.net/ It finally reduced the barrier of doing backups and I'm now using it to perform backups regularly. I'm currently not planning of maintaining my software for a long time so I'd love to see something similar being implemented in Deja-Dup.

Deja Dup already does this! If you have set your backup location to be an external drive, when it is plugged in and time for an automatic backup, it will start a backup. If it's time for an automatic backup and the drive is not plugged in, it will popup a notification telling the user.
