basedn in ldapvcard not work properly

in shared roster with ldapvcard and group mapping:
basedn in ldapvcard in group mapping (<storage><ldapvcard><mapped-groups><basedn>) work properly (e.g. ou=Group,dn=somedomain,dn=org ), but in (<storage><ldapvcard><basedn>) i can't use ou=People,dn=somedomain,dn=org in these case i can use only dn=somedomain,dn=org
for work publish roster

Could you please give config snippets of configuration that works and one that doesn't work as expected?

How exactly does "can't use ou=People,dn=somedomain,dn=org in basedn" manifest?
Does jabberd2 crashes? Errors anything? Fails to build LDAP queries?

If i set <basedn>ou=People,dc=somedomain,dc=ru</basedn>

shared (publish) roster not generated, in my case.

When i set <basedn>dc=somedomain,dc=ru</basedn>
all ok

Do you see anything in sm.log ?
ldapvcard logs all errors in sm.log
