Bug Description

need to do.
a new dual boot install 11.04 Classic/Windows XP
on a Dell Optiplex gx270 with intel82865G on board video

This onboard video is presently in the supported list and probably should be removed.

all four work spaces try to show at once,
All are labeled workspace 1
If I get a menu to not disappear, clicking on it results in a black box the size of the drop down menu.
moving down with the mouse, menu items flicker so quick I cannot read them.
If I manage to click on one, the window will open, or be blocked by that black box.
even with one workspace set, multiple pieces of all the items in the top and bottom panels are repeated across a horizontal section of the panels about eight times.

When four workspaces were selected, they kept flashing into different spaces in the current workspace. sometimes in a transparent mode and sometimes not.

my only fix was to install a more recent and capable video card.
