Bug Description

I just installed Epiphany and wanted to visit https://banking.postbank.de/ . Epiphany could not load the page and answered with the following text:

Es war nicht möglich, diese Webseite zu laden
Die Webseite auf https://banking.postbank.de/ ist möglicherweise unerreichbar, die genaue Fehlermeldung war:

Connection terminated unexpectedly.

Falls das Problem weiterhin besteht, sollten Sie Ihre Internetverbindung überprüfen oder sicher stellen, dass die Webseite auf banking.postbank.de korrekt funktioniert.

Other websites with SSL secured connections do work.
I do use the Gnome 3 PPA (http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnome3-team/gnome3/ubuntu)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Since you reported this bug under epiphany, which wasn't the correct package, the bug didn't get some required information. So in order to complete the information, I'd like to ask you to please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal (the bug is now assigned to the correct package so this should work automatically):

apport-collect 814483

I tried anyway to use epiphany-browser 2.30.6-1ubuntu5 to acces the website you mention and I was able to access the first page without problems. The message you show might suggest a connectivity problem. If possible, could you try to reproduce the issue using a different internet connection than the one you normally use? is your version of epiphany-browser the same one I used?

Please report back on whether you are still experiencing the issue so we can know how to handle this report.

Thanks!!

$ epiphany-browser --version
Webbrowser 3.0.3

It may be the unstable PPA, but now I can access the page, even if I tried it 10 minutes later, too... :(
I'll close the bug as invalid.
