Bug Description

Binary package hint: trashapplet

The Trash applet (or trash icon on the desktop) doesn't include items that are in ~/.Trash if ~ is a FUSE filesystem. For example, my home folder is an encfs encrypted partition, and trash:// only shows items in .Trash folder on other partitions on my system. Items in ~/.Trash are not shown. (Navigating to ~/.Trash in nautilus of course works).

(Using Edgy.)

Thank you for your bug. Does the nautilus trash list them correctly?

No, Nautilus trash list (I assume you mean selecting Go ... Trash .. from the Nautilus menu) also only shows trash items in partitions other than the encrypted partition. Trash items is ~/.Trash do not appear.
