Bug Description

I got the error below, when I render a video of many small clips
I tried many times and the rendering stops almost in the same place.

^[[6~openshot: Fatal IO error 11 (Source temporary not available) on X server :0.0.
Multiple segmentation faults occurred; can't display error dialog

1) Ubuntu 10.10
2) PPA from website
3) OpenShot version 1.3.1
4) I Attach a "openshot.debug" file

You should update your version of MLT and checked all your dependencies.

If you have always this bug, you should try to use GDB for having more informations on this one.

Hi, thanks for reply.

I did a lot of workaround, and I figure that a specific video file creates this crash.
I remove this file from my project and everything is fine now.

You should do a warning message notifying the users about video file problems and the user to able to skip corrupter files, when rendering.
My rendering job was about 10 hours and final crash ! It would be better if just skip the file.

You should reconsider the status.
There is a bug.
When the application reads a corrupted file during rendering it crashes with Fatal IO error 11 !

What about solving this bug? Openshot is nearly unusable because it freezes or crashes very often when I try to create some small videos!
mlt version is 0.8.8.
Using ubuntu 12.04 with all the latest updates.
