Bug Description
There have been requests for a GUI to bughelper. Henrik suggested that we build a web application that wraps bughelper and runs queries on behalf of a user. Output would be displayed as a web page, which may depend on implementing bug 81289.
This should start off as a web application that operates locally. But someone could put it on the Internet.

I started a first attempt to built a webinterface for bughelper.
I have chosen webpy because I think its the easiest way to do the job.
* Added a new branch: http:// bazaar. launchpad. net/~thekorn/ bughelper/ bughelper. webpy.dev 0.0.0.0: 8080/bugnumbers /emacs21" 0.0.0.0: 8080/bugnumbers /emacs21? minbug= 70000&importanc e=Medium
* additional packages needed: python-cheetah (Template-Engine), python-webpy
* If you want to test the "webinterface" just start the server "./bugserver" and open the provided address in a webbrowser, like "http://
* almost all options of bugnumbers are know (but not the -l-option) usage:
http://
I do not know if this is what we are looking for, do not know if we need something like django or zope.

Markus
