Bug Description

I tried to install icedtea6 for firefox. I installed all recommended packages for it. And then I got an error message. After that, I couldn't open Synaptic (I got a blank alert window every time I tried). Then I tried to reboot, but I couldn't use the OS anymore, I got to BusyBox...
So using the live cd I ran
:~$ sudo fsck /dev/sda1
and some fixes were being made. Now I can run my OS but I when I open Synaptic I'm informed that the package openjdk-6-jre-headless is broken.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS.
Output of apt-cache policy:
laptop:~$ apt-cache policy openjdk-6-jre-headless

After clicking on "Apply" for what Synaptic suggested (be it 'reinstall' or 'upgrade', I'm not sure) the package isn't broken anymore.

After that, when I tried to install IcedTea6 it installed well, and now everything's working fine.

Thanks
