Non-presentation of a picture

Hi, When uploading an image for DB1744, the image is uploaded, but does not appear on the web-site - a blank image appears - is there a problem?

This is a strange one the image is on the server but showing up blank.
I will keep investigating this one. seems to only affected this one though.
If you know any others like it let me know.

It's fixed but I don't know why it happened in the first place. The system just couldn't read the file.
So I removed the offending file and uploaded it in my test server and then uploaded the new file to the server, reset the cache and it is working now.

To see it don't forget to delete your browsers cache.

Thank you. I ow have a variation on the theme of loading photos. 6-mix23. I decided to change the image you posted for a different one. The result is your picture within the outline of the new one! Is this a permissions problem or to do with the security overlay? If the latter, are the new photos I'm posting still secure?

This has something to do with the security overlay. I am going on holiday now until next Tuesday so I won't be able to anything on this until then.

not a permissions problem as it is hit and miss. And yes the photos you are posting are still secure.

this is a cache problem. I will have to write a routine to clear the cache when a image is updated.

It's not hit and miss. It is if I try to change a photo. MT10-2005 I loaded the wrong photo and it won't change to another one. Exactly the same as 6-mix23. Not a cache problem. Tested on other browsers and computers and no difference.

The cache is not in your browser in this case it's on the server. I setup a cache that needs to remove old files when the pictures are updated which I will fix. This is a server issue and not a browser issue. I will get this done asap.

I have fixed the cache problem.
With regard to the duplicate file are you sure you did not accidentally send the wrong file up?

No it was definitely a server cache problem as when I deleted the server cache the MT10-2005 image is correct.
