BeatBox's "Show in file browser" doesn't work in Luna

In Luna, where Marlin is set as the default file manager, when I click "Show in File Browser" in context menu, nothing happens. I get the following console output:

Added Marlin as affected because it might be a Marlin bug.
Added BeatBox as affected because it might be a BeatBox bug.
Added elementary OS as affected because it might be an integration bug.

I think this is pretty clearly a Marlin bug, as marlin is started but cannot handle the arguments correctly. BeatBox uses a built in GLib function to open the file:

Gtk.show_uri(null, file.get_parent().get_uri(), 0);

Also, this works with Nautilus.

marlin use contractor-vala since the api has changed you got to install the new version of contractor. It can crash if started with the old contractor.

bzr branch lp:contractor

or wait for the package upgrade.

Ammonkey: it seems that BeatBox doesn't use Contractor for this.

That is correct, BeatBox uses the built in GLib function.
