Bug Description

1. Ctrl + Shift + u and then 00df was the process to follow to get the German UTF-8 character entered into RedNotebook. I think it should read, though obvious once it is apparent, Ctrl + Shift + u and then 00df followed by ENTER.

2. RedNotebook has a quirk in not properly displaying UTF-8 characters. Clicking the Edit icon I am able to enter unicode from the tables for Japanese using the procedure in FAQ #1694 (e.g., ß ㈊ ㈋ ß ). The two middle characters are Japanese. Clicking the Preview icon the two middle characters are not properly displayed and are shown with the undefined character.

Enjoyed playing with this tool. It might prove useful?

Thanks for the comments.

1. The FAQ has been updated.
2. I assume you are using RedNotebook 1.1.6 on Windows? Version 1.1.7 will fix the problem.

Using PortableApps on a Flash. Will look and see if there is a 1.1.7 available. Thanks for the "FAST" response.
