We should fix this by beta as about:support output is asked for when debugging.

Changed in firefox (Ubuntu Oneiric):
importance: Undecided → Medium
milestone: none → ubuntu-11.10-beta-1
status: New → Triaged

I can't reproduce this with Oneiric all updates applied, firefox 6.0~b3+build2+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 and firefox 8.0a1 (2011-07-27) nightly. Both of them display about:support correctly, both in the default profile, and also in a clean profile. Can anyone reconfirm this issue, or did it get fixed in the meantime?

Cannot reproduce anymore, marking invalid since we don't know what fixed it.

Changed in firefox (Ubuntu Oneiric):
milestone: ubuntu-11.10-beta-1 → none
status: Triaged → Invalid

So, this still shows the missing symbols in the debug output, but only on 6b3, not trunk, so I'm going to leave this closed as we'll have Firefox 8 in oneiric a few weeks after release.

Indeed, the failure still shows up, but as I mentioned in my last comment, this seems to have been fixed in Firefox 8. If this is causing a crash as it originally was for me with about:support, please file a new bug with the crash ID from about:crashes after you submit the crash to Mozilla. Otherwise, please wait for Firefox 8 for this to hopefully disappear.
