LibreOffice Writer crashes with an OpenJDK error

Ubuntu version: Kubuntu 11.04, 64-bit

To reproduce:
- Choose Tools / Customize from the menu.
- Click the Keyboard tab in the Customize window.
- In the Functions pane, scroll down and click the + beside LibreOffice Macros. This expands to show further selections: User, Share and Untitled 1.
- Click on the + beside User. LibreOffice crashes!
When run from the console with "libreoffice -writer", the following error is displayed:
