Hi,

Are you positive this is to do with the screensaver being on? I can enabled and disable NumLock just fine when the screensaver is on (though I don't have a Lenovo to confirm).

summary: if numlock enabled and screensaver / password pops up, numlock cannot be
- un-abled
+ disabled

I would like to mark this bug invalid.
Numlock got stuck in another instance outside the screensaver later, and today the bug, if bug it was, appears to be fixed.

Ok, thanks.

Btw, you can update bug statuses directly yourself - go to the bug report at http://bugs.launchpad.net, then click the downward pointing arrow on the left of the screen next to the package name. There is a dropdown box to set the status. Then click Save.
