Native brush support.

I found a tutorial the other day.
Annoyingly easy, but very difficult or even impossible to make in Inkscape :(
The option to define a brush as a path with a direction seems the only solution. Or some way to interactively bevel corners. I could not get the paste along path tool to be precise enough at the corners and I could not find any suitable bevelling tools.
