'Does the display look okay?' dialog's text size keeps increasing forever

Bug Description

Steps to reproduce

1.) Open System Settings > Display
2.) Make a change to your display (e.g. change the resolution)
3.) Watch the 'Does the display look okay?' dialog

Expected result:

Nothing untoward

Actual result:

The size of the 'Does the display look okay?' text keeps growing every second second until pretty quickly the window is bigger than the screen and the buttons cannot be reached.

Despite my best efforts to search for a duplicate in this package, Launchpad let me down. 808419 is the bug which was raised first and describes the same problem
