Bug Description

I opened the K Package kit and tried to download bug fixes and updates.
I am using a 16gig toshiba usb stick as my ubuntu 10.04 system and there is about 14.5gig remaining but a message popped up and stated that there was only a couple of hundred mg remaining.
It said that it had encountered a problem and couldn't continue.
that's it. hope you can help, Tony.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error on your system when trying to install a particular package due to a lack of free space on your system. Please resolve this situation manually and try to install the package again.
