Can not save data in mysql data format

Bug Description

Machine : Windows XP / Ubuntu 1104 dual boot both regularly updated, desktop stand-alone, lone user. Loaded Gnucash 2.4.2 from Ubuntu Software Centre with "MySQL database server driver for libdbi (libdbd-mysql)." Trying to save companies in mysql data format gives the following error : "The server at URL mysql://jos@localhost/gnucash experienced an error or encountered bad or corrupt data." After rebooting/reloading I updated Gnucash to ver 2.4.7 with getdeb. The same error result
