plugin-container consumes a lot of CPU

Bug Description
Having Firefox open with a dozen tabs is painful for the CPU, specially when some of the tabs contain Facebook, Yammer, etc. Using 'top' you can easily see that most of the CPU is wasted by firefox-bin and also by plugin-container. On a laptop this implies that the batteries run out of energy earlier.

I'm seeing this in 11.10 (install from scratch) as well. plugin-container eats up all my CPU cores. There are also at least 4-5 other bugs with the same issues (but in a non-confirmed state).
