Bug Description

Binary package hint: genesis

If genesis hasn't been set up before the menu item won't work. If you run it from CLI you find out why:
Cannot find a simrc file in the execdir/working or
home directories. Copy one from startup/.simrc
in the GENESIS installation directory and try
again or see the README in the same location.

if you cp /usr/share/genesis/startup/simrc ~/.simrc
then it starts up.

genesis (2.2.1-11ubuntu1) feisty; urgency=low

  * Added debian/genesis-start installed in /usr/bin to copy the simrc file
    from /usr/share/genesis/startup/ to ~/.simrc before launching genesis
    (Closes: Malone #80814)
  * debian/genesis.desktop:
     - Exec genesis-start instead of genesis
     - Terminal=true (Closes: Malone #80815)
