j2se1.4-amd64 jre crashes when running azureus 2.5.0.2

Bug Description

When using Azureus 2.5.0.2, Azureus will suddenly exit with no apparent cause. A second later, my system reports that java has crashed. I've been unable to reliably reproduce the crash yet, but I'm working on it.

Thanks for this bug report.

A new upstream release 2.5.0.4-1ubuntu3~gutsy1 which fixes crash problems can be installed in Linux Ubuntu Gutsy with backports repositories enabled. Can you install that release and confirm if you can still reproduce that bug?
