Bug Description

Since this week I'm unable to change the volume over the sound menu in the unity panel.

If i press the control it mutes and if I press it again in goes to full volume.

The only way to change it by know is to go to "Sound Settings" and change it there.

BTW I'm also unable to use the FN-Keys to change the volume, it just doesn't do anything.

Thanks!

Hi,

The problems you're having with the sound menu are known about and reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-sound/+bug/804009

If your FN-Key combinations aren't working, that's a separate problem.

Ok, thanks!

but the FN-Keys used to work before and I realized them stopping working as soon as I couldn't changed the volume anymore.

So I thought the problems belong together.
