Bug Description

Testing Xubuntu 20110705. After the initial steps were completed with no difficulty, the process of mounting the live system hung with a black screen (I allowed ten minutes for some action to occur, but none did).

The attempted LiveCD test was based on a physical CD (checked for consistency with the original image) on a Compaq C700 laptop which had no difficulty in dealing with the equivalent tests for Ubuntu and Kubuntu.

This "black screen" is caused by xserver abort.
