Bug Description

Installer 20101020ubuntu44 creates a 10M partition on the SD for boot files specific to the omap4 pandaboard, but the sum total of all files exceeds the partition size. The preinstalled images create a 70M partition by default. This is the recommended minimum, as flash-kernel will store the current & previous boot files during updates.

Reopening and reassigning to Michael. Either fix it, change the package that is affected or mark it as a duplicate to another bug. Until then, this is valid.

This has been worked around in Oneiric by increasing the size of the boot partition in the netinstall image. In addition to this, if the user is installing to SD, the user will need to change the default partitioning from "Guided - Use entire disk" to "Guided - Use largest contiguous free space.
