Bug Description

This comes up when I try to change a desktop wallpaper. I am using Gnome Shell.

Steps:
1) Click on the user name menu to the top right corner, and choose System Settings
2) Choose Background, and click on the plus icon to the bottom left corner to add a new image from elsewhere
3) File picker dialog comes up and navigate to a folder with images
4) The dialog crashes together with System Settings, and no wallpaper is changed.

I had this error in a Unity session, system was idle at the time. This is using an up to date version of Oneiric and a 32-bit install.

For me, it happens in Parallels Desktop about 30 sec. after login. With unity-2d.

Basically the same as in 11.04 in VirtualBox :-(

Some things never change ...

there's no duplicates with 3.2 could somebody please give it a try with latest packages and see if they can reproduce the issue? Thanks in advance.

I am using Oneiric and regularly get this error. It always occurs after the system has been up for a while (usually > 1hr) and mostly occurs when closing an application.

This is using full Unity.
