Black background in active sliders

Bug Description
I work under WIndows XP with "Classic" theme (old Windows 95/98/2000's one).
Recently (could not say since which revision) I've notice that active sliders have a heavy and thick black background, different than when disabled. Compare the two cases in the attached file.
Active silders are ok under "normal" Windows XP theme.

Reproduced on Windows XP, Classic theme, Inkscape trunk revision 10391 and 0.48.x branch, all devlibs r24.
Not reproduced with the default XP theme and on Ubuntu 10.04.
