Bug Description
Problem present on Ubuntu 11.04, not on 10.04
Open up firefox, Empathy, and then an Empathy chat window. On 11.04 Empathy and the chat window will be just a touch too far to the right, wrapping onto the next workspace. Firefox will start on the left but sometimes it will be up against the left side (expected) but sometimes it will be shifted in to not cover the auto-hiding launcher bar.
On top of this, when in the workspace view, window positioning is pointless because when aligning a window on the top of a workspace, you are aligning it with the top of the menu bar will be when back to the regular view, covering the window you just moved.

Sorry folks, but as part of the bug clean up ahead of 16.04 I'm marking this as invalid because it affects an Ubuntu release which is now unsupported. If you can still recreate this bug in a supported release please do open a new bug and we can triage it for consideration in the 16.04 development cycle.
