Shnatsel: This was why I hacked the ubiquity source code for Jupiter. Not saying we should try it again. Maybe we could actually include some release notes? :D

Ubiquity should use the URL from .disk/release_notes_url in the ISO I guess. Currently we have "http://www.elementaryOS.org" in there.

Not sure if it still happens in Luna; marking incomplete

If there are no release notes yet, we can't link: logical, right?

The easiest way to fix this is to provide the release notes :)

Sure we can link it, it just doesn't have to be to the final release notes or even an existing page.

For a future-proof quick fix:

Just assign a link for use on the release. Example: http://www.elementaryos.org/journal/luna-release-notes
Then, when Luna gets launched, all that has to be done is creating the actual entry on the website.

I believe there is permalink support in the current website, so this should be easy enough and doing it this way wouldn't prevent the iso from being delivered, so no holdbacks. And no leaks of the release notes, so a big entrance can be made with the post.

It goes to elementaryos.org which is good enough at this point.

Changed in elementaryos:
milestone: luna-rc1 → none
Changed in elementaryos:
status: Fix Committed → Fix Released
