Bug Description

The news content on the main page is currently static. The python news fetcher works, but its output needs to be incorporated into the web page. This might require fiddling with Apache SSI or getting Sphinx to regenerate the site with reasonable frequency (say once an hour).

This has been fixed as long as index.html is executable.

Is this fixed? The news seems to have not been updated for a while.

Yes, it is fixed. It is only that the cron job is not running on the webserver. This involves dirty things like hard-coded paths, so I thought I'd wait until the fpo/new -> fpo transition to turn on.
