Bug Description

This patch prevents a race condition but also has apparently caused some broken userspace apps to cause additional problems.

This bug will track the fact that we have reverted the patch, and track status and future re-application to various series.

The problem turned out not to be due to this patch, but rather was caused by this one:

fb4c92d Revert "af_unix: Only allow recv on connected seqpacket sockets.", which is documented here:
