Open Recent opens only the most recent drawing in the list

Bug Description
When using Open Recent a list of recently saved drawings appear. However whichever one you select from the list Inkscape opens the file listed at the top. And it will do that even if that file is already open. If you open a file in the long way via the file explorer route and then save it again then that will be the file opened by Open Recent.
This problem has only occurred recently, possibly since the last upgrade.
Machine is running Ubuntu 11.04. Inkscape splash screen says 0.48, but when I tried to upgrade to 0.48.1 it said I was already at the latest version so I guess Inscape is v 0.48.1
