This happened when I tried to use the update utility. I started having problems also with the software center yesterday that I think is related to this. I tried to install the mono development tool and have been having problems installing and uninstalling apps since. I will paste a log file of the error message that I received, if anybody has a suggestion as to how to fix this I would appreciate it. I am not an expert Linux user, but am trying to user it as a desktop system on a laptop.
