'pmi action suspend' fails with a DBus error:

$ pmi capabilities
hibernate suspend
$ pmi action suspend
Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files

This bug continues to exist in the new release, 11.10. What is the problem preventing someone from fixing it?
