I have the following error when use a WINDOWS client (v6.0.2, on Windows Vista) to create a new DB on a LINUX server (6.0-trunk, revision-id: launchpad_translations_on_behalf_of_openerp-20110621060704-rv8b7nzm784f9cs8, revno: 3446).

I have checked this issue at my end and did not face any problem.Would you please check this again with latest updated code.If you steel facing same problem then would you please provide me your end complete configuration so I will reproduce same at my end.

Do you have the same configuration: WINDOWS client of version 6.0.2 and Ubuntu server 6.0-trunk? I do not have this issue with Ubuntu client, so maybe this is a Windows GTK client problem?

Yes I have tested this by starting my server in trunk and open the client in windows which is 6.0.2.

I have this error again today: Windows Vista, GTK client 6.0.2. It also happens with the web client

I have tested your scenario in all way at my end.

But all are working as expected I think the problem occurs from your end.

And this is not a generalise problem So currently I am closing this issue.

If you still faced the problem then you can reopen this with more precious steps including screen-shots or video.
