Thanks for your report. I can't reproduce the crash just by running unity-2d from the Live CD on amd64 and i386 and doing different activities from the session.

Do you remember doing something specific that could have triggered this crash .

still seeing this Bug #810186 get it shortly after booting the live cd in testdrive.
