New user can't log in kdm. Not working forms for change password.

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

When I create new user he must change password if he login in kdm. But forms for change password hang in and user cannot login.

None from the dev team is paying attention to this bug! It's a shame!

Anyway I have a workaround.

Switch to a text console with CRTL+ALT+F1 to get a text login.
Login with the new user and related password.
You'll be asked to change the password as required by the administrator (though I have never asked such a thing).
Then exit with ... exit and switch back to the X Windows with ALT+F7.
Now the new user can log in with the new password.

Thank you, this problem appear on Kubuntu
I think developers thinkig more on new LightDM.

KDM is KDE Display Manager.

It's much better from the marketing point of view to start a new thing instead of fixing old bugs.
In my opinion, the bug is not in the KDM itself, but in the way it's been integrated with the Kubuntu system.
LightDM is based on WebKit and is HTML powered. A lot of technology for just doing a graphical login.
