Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When using CCSM or gconf-editor to set the expo plugin expo_edge to "TopRight" the setting is non-functional (ignored perhaps) after a reboot. The setting is still shown as being set in both CCSM and gconf-editor. In order to get the setting to work again I have to clear the setting and then re-apply the setting.

I changed expo to be the bottom plugin and the setting now is retained after restart or unity --replace

Confirming, setting to Medium (will have to check upstream before setting to Triaged).

This is either a Doc issue, or a real bug. If the Compiz plugins are dependent on the order they are specified -- which is suggested by gconf-editor showing an ordered list for edit --, then this has to be documented, and the pecking order established. If a real bug, then it obviously has to be fixed.

Changed in compiz (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Confirmed
