Bug Description

Binary package hint: lightdm

The "Apply System-Wide" buttons in Language Support don't work in sessions started with LightDM. No error message appears, /etc/default/locale and /etc/environment are unchanged, and I haven't found any applicable log message.

I made this observation in both Natty and Oneiric.

I suspect that this has the same cause as bug 798277.

This is probably fixed with the solution to bug 793366, can you please check with LightDM 0.4.1? Thanks.

I can't see any connection to bug 793366. Tested with LightDM 0.4.1, and the problem description still stands.

For whatever reason it works fine with LightDM 0.9.3-0ubuntu1.
