Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-shell

GNOME has moved to point sizes instead of pixel sizes (pt instead of px in the CSS) to consider flexible scale factors available in high-resolution screens. You can manually adjust the sizes in /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gnome-shell.css .

Looking at /gnome-shell.css :

stage {
    font-family: cantarell, sans-serif;
}

but searching cantarell into synaptic fails, there is no such font actuually inside Oneiric

The UGR project is working on this. The have a hacked together package at http://launchpad.net/ugr-cantarell
They are working on cleaning it up and will upload it soon.

Thanks for your answer,

as gnome-shell is installed via gnome3-team ppa, it might itself propose this font or at least tell users to add your ugr ppa too.
