Installing gnome-icon-theme-full fixes the crasher for me. Thanks to Ian_Corne on #ubuntu+1 for the tip.

I have the same problem, installing gnome-icon-theme-full fixes it for me. This however does change a lot of icons, include those of folders, update-manager icon in unity bar and terminal.

I didn't even had to start nautilus, I just started KDE (I use Kubuntu) and it reported nautilus crashed (why, I didn't even start it :D)...
