Switching playlists resets selection in multi-column selection view

Bug Description

When switching playlists while using the the multi-column selection view, ie. the right-most view option, the selection is reset and all songs from the play list are displayed no matter what.

i really need you to clarify what multi-colum view is, but i assume the miller column?

By multi-column view I mean the right-most view option. The UI doesn't give it a name.

It is confusing right now because the selection is retained but not actually applied. It should either properly reset or do what it pretends to do.
