succeded in restoring default settings:
sudo apt-get remove slapd ldap-utils
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get purge slapd
sudo apt-get install slapd ldap-utils

in my opinion, issue may be closed as solved
