Hello Harmel Delphine,
We had the same behavior as expected but we had a security concerns as reported here https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/openobject -server/ +bug/632927 on web client. So to over come this we do always clear the change password field.
Secondly: yes the label needs to be improved to "set" instead of "change" the user can either set it for the first time while creating a user or can set the new password for existing user.
So we would like to just implement the usability issue reported.
Correct me if I am missing something !
