Can't burn CD-ROM

I can't write a CD with nautilus-cd-burner, when I hit Burn it fails with the
following error:

:-( unable to PREVENT MEDIA REMOVAL: Operation not permitted

My uname -a:
Linux sadok 2.6.8.1-2-686 #1 Fri Sep 10 04:14:35 UTC 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

I've reconfigured cdrecord to have suid bits on the binaries:

$ ll /usr/bin/cdrecord*
-rwsr-xr-- 1 root cdrom 133 2004-08-13 09:05 /usr/bin/cdrecord
-rwsr-xr-- 1 root cdrom 334860 2004-08-13 09:05 /usr/bin/cdrecord.mmap

And the device is writable:

Fascinating. That error is coming from growisofs, not cdrecord. I didn't
realize that nautilus-cd-burner supported DVD writing.

Anyway, the bug causing that message is fixed in dvd+rw-tools
5.19.4.9.7-2ubuntu5; please retest with that. However, if nautilus-cd-burner is
using growisofs when it needs to use cdrecord (apparently because it thinks you
are writing a DVD), then that would be a bug itself

Me saying cdrecord was very foolish as I was writing using a DVD burner onto a
DVD-RW disk, so growisofs is the right tool to give the error.

I shall upgrade and test tomorrow.
