Bug Description
The text box for the whiteboard would be much easier and nicer to use if it *was* simply a text box. Right now, it's slow to use due to extra javascript load and automatically resizing and I can't use itsalltext or similar to edit the text and keep it safe against browser crashes or navigation mistakes.
The whiteboard may not be as pretty in text box form, but it would be much more functional.
